The free events will feature a performance of house music stars at the Humboldt Park Boathouse on June 24 and a symposium with DJs, producers and label owners at the Chicago Cultural Center on June 23. The music festival will be Saturday at the Humboldt Park Boathouse Lawn and feature such performers as Noshaluv, Roy Davis Jr. and the iconic Robert Owens (who will also deliver a keynote fireside chat from 8-9 p.m. Friday at the Chicago Cultural Center’s Preston Bradley Hall). Best of all, all the events are free, allowing everyone to enjoy the vibrant sounds and culture of house music.
